Monas (The National Monument)

The National Monument or "Monas" is Jakarta's most famous landmark, 450 ft (137 m) tall tower in Central Jakarta. It is topped by a 14.5 tonnes flame-shaped bronze plated in 35 kg (1,125 troy ounces) of gold. Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM)
Taman Ismail Marzuki is the center of art in Jakarta, known as TIM for short. This complex acquired its name from the great Indonesian musician, Ismail Marzuki, whose statue guards the entrance gate.
