Welcome to the sixth wonder of West java, Bandung. More than any other spot in the country, located at main island of Indonesia, The Java island. Bandung is the provincial capital city of West Java, about 180 km (112 miles) southeast of Jakarta. Its elevation is 768 m (2,520 ft) above sea level and is surrounded by up to 2,400 m (7,874 ft) high late tertiary and quartenary volcanic terrain. The city brings together Indonesia's past and present, its many constituent cultures, and even its remarkable natural treasures. Home to more than three million people.

Gedung Sate, Bandung

Bandung has so many nicknames, Called Parijs van Java (Paris of Java) by the Dutch and also has been nicknamed Kota Kembang, literally meaning the flower city, since the colonial era. However this nickname is a misinterpreted by many, as the flower actually refers to females, because of the city's reputation for having beautiful girls. Bandung is renowned for its large stock of Dutch colonial architecture; most notably the tropical art deco architectural style. Bandung also known as one of the liveliest and most varied cosmopolitan cities, from new international-class hotels complexes to an increase in industries, shopping malls, and new residential ventures. And you can also enjoy spas and hot springs in Ciater or Cipanas, both just a short drive from Bandung.

The gentle nature and the friendliness of local people have become the main attraction of the city. Also hundreds accommodations option of cultural heritage and the cooler climate of natural sceneries such as highland plantation area, the varieties of food of excellent local dishes, shopping paradise of luxury shopping malls and the cheaper fashion shops located in factory outlets and distros, golf courses, luxury hotels, and other entertainments are available in Bandung for tourism needs.

Hmmm in Dec.. that would be in rain season.. :) but nothing to worry about that tho..
Theres no special tips at all lol.. If you are looking for shopping tours.. that would not be a problem. But if you are going out for some view and natures.. you will need an umbrella :)
One thing.. just try to enjoy it and keep smiling so the rain would not ruin your days :p
